It’s the most normal thing in the world for a coach to need support.
You probably became a coach because you wanted to support people – but who’s supporting you? Your clients come to you for help and advice, and most of the time you have something up your sleeve that works a treat. But sometimes, even the most experienced of coaches can hit a brick wall, unsure of which approach or intervention to try next.
You might even have realised that your client isn’t getting the results they wanted from your work together, or you simply don’t know how best to help them. This can leave you doubting the value of your work and wondering whether you’re the right coach for your client – or for any client, for that matter.
They say that no man is an island, but due to the confidential nature of our work, life as a coach can be pretty lonely sometimes. You carry around a backpack stuffed full of your clients’ baggage, wishing there was somewhere you could put it down for a moment and unpack it all in peace – especially if some of that baggage is personally triggering for you. Sound familiar?
So who can you talk to if you’re at a bit of a loss? How can you get help to see the bigger picture and get a fresh perspective on things?
Well, that’s where Supervision for Coaches comes in.
Whether you’re brand new to the profession or you’ve got 20 years of coaching experience under your belt, supervision can give you the tools and the confidence boost you need to tackle even the most challenging of coaching work with renewed vigour.
Needing support isn’t something to be ashamed of – far from it! In fact, today, supervision is a vital part of any serious coach’s professional and personal development. It’s a safe space in which to challenge yourself and gain new perspectives. Most of us tend to stick to the coaching approaches and models we know and trust – but there are so many ways of approaching a situation that it can really help to come at the problem from a different angle, using a new tool or intervention.
This is what Supervision for Coaches gives you: another pair of eyes on your client work to help you navigate tricky situations and bumps in the road. I’ll help you to understand your clients more deeply and reflect on your own responses to your clients and your work in general. Together we’ll work through your coaching dilemmas and share the weight of that backpack of client baggage.
Plus, because I offer one-off supervision sessions, you don’t even need to commit to a multi-week programme – instead you can simply book an appointment as and when the need arises.
If you’ve had an especially challenging week or are feeling totally stuck with a particular client, just get in touch. We’ll book you in for a Supervision for Coaches session and talk it all through.

The key to good supervision? Trust.
Supervision can be incredibly helpful for both new and experienced coaches, but here’s the catch: it only works if you’re talking to a coach you trust. Someone who knows their stuff and has more than a little experience under their belt.
I’m a fully accredited (EMCC and ICF) coach and have been running my full-time, in-demand coaching practice since 2013. In that time, I’ve built up over 7,000 hours of coaching experience.
Those thousands of coaching hours have exposed me to thousands of client problems and dilemmas – and as a result, I’ve implemented countless different methods and approaches in trying to help. But it’s not only client issues I’ve come up against over the years – I also know how it feels to be a bit lost in your approach as a coach.
Because I get where you’re coming from, I can share my years of experience with you in a way that concretely helps you in your day-to-day work. You’ll get hands-on advice that you can implement right away. My approach is pragmatic but encouraging – I want you to feel both challenged and supported as we work together.
My hope is that Supervision for Coaches will give you a safe space in which you can talk to someone you trust. Someone you can learn from. Think of me as a kind of sounding board – and trust me, everyone needs one of those every once in a while!
Get ready to head out into the world carrying a lighter load. I like to think of supervision as being a bit like a massage for your mind. After a supervision session, you’ll feel lighter and less weighed down by your client work. You’ll be raring to go, filled with new perspectives and approaches to try out.
With my help – and a little hard graft – you’ll feel more confident as a coach, safe in the knowledge that you have the tools and fresh perspectives you need to help your clients.
So … what are you waiting for?
